Crystals, Minerals, Gems, and Things

All those fancy rocks.

Recently I visited one of my favorite places in Dallas, which is the Gems and Minerals Hall at the Perot Museum of Nature and Science. I will never tire of that place and its unique and otherworldly exhibits. Every time I walk inside it inspires me, and it strangely seems to recharge me with some invisible power source. It's just a good vibe all around, and I highly recommend it if you're a "fancy rocks" lover such as myself.

In the Hall, there is an enormous amethyst geode that is cut into to symmetrical cathedrals that come together like a pitted avocado. I joke with my friends that I want to be buried inside when it's my time to go, like my own little weird, eternal, purple chrysalis. Don't steal my idea. I call dibs. And Perot Museum, if you're listening, slide into my DMs, baby.

As of tonight I have added a few new crystals to the Prettygoods shop, with many more to come! Presently, the fancy rocks that are up and ready to purchase in the store are: varieties of amethyst, rose quartz, pyrite, malachite, selenite, citrine, and a couple unique specimens like peacock ore.

Trust me when I say I have many more to put up for sale, including larger clusters and specimens; the photography just takes a little while.

I am curious to know what all of your favorite crystals, minerals, geodes, and gems are! Drop me a line in the comments, or send me a message. I am always up for finding/purchasing new and interesting items for you guys. I love this stuff. Sometimes I love it a little too much, and I get thrown in what my husband calls "crystal jail." Have any of you ever been thrown in crystal jail by your significant other?

Eh, whatever. Leave us to our fancy rocks and be gone with ya!

Until next time...

Xoxo,

Rachel
